FIABCI USA SIOR is a principal member of FIABCI.  SIOR members receive FIABCI World Congress registration discounts. GE Capital A subsidiary of General Electric, GE Capital has developed a broad spectrum of educational programs, including courses in finance, marketing, sales, etc., that are appropriate for commercial real estate practitioners.  SIOR is exploring a relationship with GE that will allow our members to tap into these rich educational resources.  Under this arrangement, GE would provide approximately a half-dozen of their courses to our members at chapter meetings at little or no cost to chapters. Location Management Services (LMS) SIOR has recently signed a contract with LMS, a site selection and incentives negotiation firm that provides consulting services for relocation and expansion, and handles the negotiation, collection and monitoring of incentive payments available from governmental authorities and economic development agencies.  SIOR members can offer LMS to their clients as a value-added service, and through this relationahip, LMS can serve as a referral service for SIOR member brokers.
