To help you make the most of CREate 360's virtual platform, we've developed a list of frequently asked questions and answers.

How Do I Update My Profile?

Creating a robust profile is the best way to share your highlights with attendees and create a learning path for the conference. When you initially log in, you will be prompted to update your profile and select your areas of interest.

What to add to your profile:

  • Upload your headshot
  • Create a Hello World! video to introduce yourself to attendees
  • Include a bio
  • Link to your LinkedIn, and,
  • Select your areas of interest*
Accessing Your Profile
Throughout the event, to update your profile at anytime, click on My Profile on the left-hand side of the navigation menu.

Areas of Interest*
Areas of Interest (Industrial, Office, COVID, Tenant-Rep, etc.) help the system identify sessions you may be interested in, sponsors and exhibitors you may want to visit, and attendees who have similar interests as you.

See who else is attending and easily connect with them in a number of ways, including inviting them to a virtual chat or a roundtable discussion.

How do I find other attendees?

The attendee list for the conference lives in the Networking Lounge, found via the Network icon on the left-hand navigation. You can sort by relevance, which will pull people who have similar interests to you to the top of the list, or you can sort in alphabetical order.

To connect with an attendee, simply click on their profile and select Connect.

How do I network with attendees?


Once in the Networking Lounge, you can also engage in the following:

  • View and search the Attendee Directory
  • View Hello World! videos
  • View Soap Box videos – These are short videos of shout outs to conference events and sessions; things you thought were well done that you think other people would benefit from seeing.
  • Attend a Happy Hour.

To connect and begin networking:

Visit the attendee profile, and you have the option to connect, invite them to chat, or join a roundtable discussion.


To chat: visit an attendee's profile, make sure you are connected, and then click on the tab marked "Chat."
To invite them to a roundtable: visit their profile and click on "New Roundtable."

Setting up a New Roundtable/Boardroom

Roundtables and Boardrooms are video chats that can be used anytime with the Social27 system. They can be public or prFivate and may be set up by SIOR HQ, sponsors or exhibitors, and attendees.

There are two options for roundtables
1. Roundtable (Invite up to 5 attendees)
2. Boardroom (Invite up to 15 attendees)

When creating a meeting, you will be given three platforms to choose from to hold your meeting:
Teams, Zoom, or Social 27 (the conference platform)

To create a meeting:

  • Choose Social 27.
  • Select "Connect Account."
  • You DO NOT need an account to have a meeting.
  • All attendees automatically have a Social 27 account and will be taken to the next form to create the meeting.
  • If you want to use your own personal Teams or Zoom accounts, select either option, click "Connect Account," and you will be prompted to sign into your Teams or Zoom account. This is optional.

Where to Set up a Roundtable

You have two ways to do this. Using the "Roundtable" left-hand Navigation Menu:
  1. Click on the  Roundtable tab.
  2. Select the  Create Meeting  button on the upper right.
  3. Click on Social 27 and Connect Account.
  4. Complete the meeting info (topic, date/time/description/tag (areas of interest).
  5. Choose which meeting type.
  6. Select attendees by typing names on the line that says Attendee. It will auto-populate with options for you to choose.
  7. Choose whether your meeting is public or private. (Public meetings can be accessed by all attendees and will appear as an option for anyone to join in the Public Roundtable menu. Private roundtables will appear under "My Roundtable" and attendees must be personally invited."
  8. When ready, click Create Roundtable.

Inviting a specific attendee via their profile:

When viewing an attendee's profile, click New Roundtable and then begin the same process as above. If you want to invite more people, search for additional attendees by typing on the Attendee line. Invitations will appear in a person's Notifications menu item.

How to Join a Roundtable or Boardroom


1. Click on Roundtables on the left-hand navigation menu.
2. There are Private Roundtables, My Roundtables, Sponsored Roundtables, and Public Roundtables.
3. Choose which roundtable you wish to join and click join. This saves you a seat.
4. To enter the roundtable, click on the three dots in the right-hand corner of the Roundtable box and click Launch.

What is a Happy Hour?

Happy Hours are set for a specific date and time and have an overall topic in mind. Several will be focused on benefits available to SIOR members. We may also have some lobby bars set up as happy hours, so be sure to check those out. These will be informal video meet-ups to pop into and meet new friends and old!

To access a Happy Hour, simply visit the Networking Lounge at the appointed time and click on that Happy Hour.

How Do I Visit with Sponsors & Exhibitors?

To view the sponsors and exhibitors list, simply click on Sponsors & Exhibitors on the left-hand navigation menu. This will take you to the Expo Hall.

To view and engage with a sponsor or exhibitor, click on the company logo.

Once in the booth, you can engage with the sponsor/exhibitor via the booth chat or by entering into a roundtable in their booth.

You can also view the resources and playlist items provided by the sponsors and exhibitors, which include videos, PDF marketing brochures, websites, and more.

***When you enter into a sponsor or exhibitor booth, be sure to click on the Scan Badge button. This is one way to amass points to be eligible for the raffle at the Bull ‘n’ Beer Reception and Raffle.***

You can earn additional points by further interaction with sponsors and exhibitors – setting up 1:1 meetings and viewing their playlist items. The more you interact, the more points you will earn!

How do I set up my agenda?

To populate your agenda, navigate to the Sessions tab on the navigation menu. Once in the agenda, you will see the complete list of events broken out by day.

To view session description and details, click on the eyeball icon. To add an item to your agenda, click on the calendar icon. When it is time for a particular session, click on the play button icon.

To view your personal agenda, click on My Agenda on the navigation menu. This will pop up your agenda on the right-hand side of the screen.

The My Agenda tab has all sessions and events that you have added to your agenda. The Recommended by Us tab includes sessions, sponsors/exhibitors, and other attendees that the system is recommending based on the areas of interest that you selected when you initially logged in.

To add an item to your personal Outlook calendar, click on the calendar icon. This will download an .ics file. Once downloaded, open the file and save it to your calendar.

Be sure to update when you want to be reminded about the session within that calendar notification. It will default to 1 day prior, we recommend changing that to 15 minutes prior. The link contained in the invite will take you directly to that session at the appointed time.

How do I participate in the raffle at the Bull & Beer Reception?

Entries into the raffle will be based on the points you earn throughout the event. Earn points by engaging with sponsors and exhibitors.

  • Scan your badge in booths.
  • Set up a one on one meeting
  • View their playlist items

The more you interact, the more points you will earn!


What if I need 1:1 assistance or have other questions about the event?

SIOR will have a help desk available in the Roundtables during the following hours:

  • Monday – 9am-5pm EDT
  • Tuesday – 9am-8pm EDT
  • Wednesday – 9am-8pm EDT
  • Thursday – 9am-8:30pm EDT
  • Friday – 9am-2:15pm EDT
