On September 14th, Hurricane Florence ravaged the coast of North and South Carolina, bringing more than 33 inches of rain to parts of the states. At least 32 people lost their lives, while thousands were forced to evacuate from their homes, only to come back to a mass loss of electricity, farming livestock, and personal belongings. Our hearts go out to the entire states of North and South Carolina, as they attempt to rebuild and move ahead after such great loss.

The not-for-profit REALTORS® Relief Foundation gives SIOR members the chance to impact the people and communities that faced the damage of this terrible storm by helping deliver much needed housing assistance to those impacted. Every dollar donated will go directly to the victims and the National Association of REALTORS® covers 100% of administrative expenses.
In addition to the REALTORS® Relief Foundation, the SIOR Carolinas Chapter recommends donating to the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army.
