Regarding the specifics of SIOR's strategy, Thornburgh revealed the goal is to grow organically, with currently 3,900 members in 49 countries, SIOR focuses on quality rather than quantity. "We want to expand strategically. The aim is to have representatives in each of the seven important real estate metropolises who can exchange ideas with each other." Lockwood agreed.

SIOR's strategic plan focuses on creating a cohesive network of real estate professionals dedicated to upholding SIOR's standards of excellence and integrity. "Business conduct must be transparent, there must be no hidden commissions, and the customer must come first. This ethic is a big part of our foundation," Thornburgh affirms.

As SIOR embarks on its European expansion journey, both Thornburgh and Lockwood reiterated the organization's steadfast dedication to empowering real estate professionals and driving excellence in the field. "Our strategic plan aims to nurture the next generation of leaders," stated Lockwood. "Last year alone we saw a 24% increase in new members under 35 (years old)."
