Washington, D.C.— The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors® (SIOR), the world’s premier commercial real estate organization for industrial and office brokers, inducted its 2024-2025 officers during its Fall 2024 Event in Los Angeles, Calif. The newly appointed board members bring a wealth of knowledge and experience and are proven experts in their market and leaders in the industry.

Mike Ohmes, SIOR, assumes the role of SIOR Global president. Ohmes is the managing principal of the Minneapolis-St. Paul office of Cushman & Wakefield and has been an SIOR office specialist since 2001.
Saadia Sheikh, SIOR, CEO and founder at CRE advisory firm Powersense in New York, assumes office as SIOR President-Elect. She has been an SIOR office specialist since 2017. Sheikh is the youngest female SIOR to ever serve in this role. After serving one year as president-elect, she will step into the role of global president in the fall of 2025.
Aaron Barnard, SIOR, an office specialist and senior director in Minneapolis with Cushman & Wakefield, assumes the role of SIOR's vice-president. After serving a one-year term as vice president, Barnard will serve as president-elect for one year, and then step into the presidency of SIOR in the fall of 2026.
Scott Savacool, SIOR, an office specialist and senior vice president at Colliers in Saint Louis, Mo., will be serving a two-year term as SIOR’s treasurer.
The following were also inducted to serve two-year terms on SIOR’s Board of Directors as members-at-large:
- Michael Feuerman, SIOR, an office specialist, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
- Street Jones, SIOR, industrial and office specialist, Raleigh, N.C.
- Russell Patterson, SIOR, office specialist, Tyler, Texas.
Paul Danks, SIOR, was re-appointed to serve another two-year term as SIOR’s International Representative.
In addition, the following SIOR members will serve as Regional Directors for a two-year term:
- Canada Regional Director: Bronwyn Scrivens, SIOR, industrial specialist, Edmonton, Ala.
- Europe Regional Director: Christopher Aquilina, SIOR, office specialist, London, United Kingdom
- Great Lakes Regional Director: Matthew Osowski, SIOR, industrial specialist, Columbus, Ohio
- Northeast Regional Director: Jonathan Stravitz, SIOR, office specialist, New York, NY
- South Regional Director: Monty Warren, SIOR, industrial and office specialist, Lafayette, La.
- West Regional Director: Nancy Morse, SIOR, office specialist, San Jose, Ca.
