About
David Lockwood is the Chief Executive Officer for SIOR Global. David is a 30+ year designee of the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS®. He has served in numerous leadership capacities of SIOR including serving as President of SIOR Global in 2024.
Previously, David served as an Executive Vice President and the Chief Operating Officer of Colliers International in South Carolina. His primary areas of expertise include brokerage management with a concentration on developing business for the firm. His areas of specialization included marketing strategies, transaction strategy and negotiation and consulting.
David has been recognized numerous times for his service to various REALTOR® Associations and is a past recipient of the South Carolina REALTORS® Association’s, REALTORS® of the Year Award, Central Carolina REALTORS® Association’s REALTORS® of the Year Award, the President’s Excellence Program Award and the Grassroots REALTORS® of the Year Award. David has served as the President of the Central Carolina REALTORS® Association and the South Carolina REALTORS® Association. In 2025 David received the Distinguished Service Award from the South Carolina REALTORS® Association. David also served on the Executive Committee of the National Association of REALTORS® for nine years. He is currently a Board Member for National Associations of REALTORS® Second Century Ventures.
David recently completed serving nine years as a Commissioner to the South Carolina Real Estate Commission representing the 2nd Congressional District. He served as Vice Chair of the Commission in 2021-2022. David also served on the Clemson University Board of Visitors and Chaired the Student Affairs Committee of the Board of Visitors. He also served as Chair of the Clemson University Student Affairs Advisor Board. In 2025 David received the prestigious Distinguished Service Award from Clemson University.
David is also very active in civic affairs in Columbia, South Carolina where he has served as Chairman of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of City Center Partnership and is currently on the Board of Sandhills School. David has been named to the 50 Most Influential People in Columbia Hall of Fame.
