Joel attended Bucknell University where he was a 3 year letterman in football and member of Sigma Chi. Upon graduation, Joel was hired by FMC Corporation and moved to Houston, TX. He was promoted to District Sales Manager in San Jose, CA. In 1988, he returned to his native Pittsburgh and began his real estate career. While in Pittsburgh Joel practiced both landlord and tenant representation in the industrial sector, developed a 185,000 SF industrial park and managed the property. Joel achieved his broker license in 2004 and since relocating to Central PA has also obtained broker status in DE, MD, NJ, VA & WV. Joel is married, has one son and two grandsons. He and his wife, Jennifer, enjoy golfing, sailing and fine dining.

Joel Kreider joined Lee & Associates of Eastern Pennsylvania as a Principal in April 2017. An accomplished transaction representative for more than 30 years, specializing in industrial properties, his unique experience also includes industrial park ownership, development and property management. Mr. Kreider utilizes his development background to compliment his brokerage skills allowing him to fully represent his clients in each transaction.

Mr. Kreider has brokered hundreds of third party and in-house sale, lease and build-to-suit transactions throughout southwestern and central Pennsylvania. His recent successes include landlord representation of a 1.8 M sf warehouse in Shippensburg which was leased to Walmart and the redevelopment of 485 St. Johns Church Road in Mechanicsburg; the 456,810 sf property was 100% leased prior to completion of construction.

In addition to his agency clients, Mr. Kreider has successfully represented buyers and tenants including DHL Supply Chain, Diakon Logistics, Composites One, Vesuvius USA, Columbia Gas of PA, OH and VA, Verizon, Crown Fork Trucks, Exel Logistics, Thermo-Fisher Scientific, Matthews International, Millwood, NiSource, Phillips Consumer Electronics, PPG Industries, Schwan's Sales, Sunbelt Rentals, UPMC and Westinghouse Corporation.

Prior to joining Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, Mr. Kreider was the owner and Broker of Record for Tartan Realty, LLC; general partner for Imperial Business Park, L.P.; managing member of CSG Properties, LLC; partner and director of marketing for Chapman Business Properties; senior associate in brokerage for Oxford Development Company; associate vice president for Langholz/Wilson and Associates, Inc.; and a sales associate at Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. Prior to his real estate experience, Mr. Kreider was a district sales manager for FMC Corporation's Industrial Chemical Division in San Jose, CA.

Mr. Kreider achieved his broker's license in Pennsylvania in 2004 and has been a member of SIOR since 2016.
