After graduating from West Point and serving five years in the military, Mark began his real estate career in 1985 with a regional development company in Louisville, overseeing the leasing and construction of several suburban office buildings. He was promoted to partner in 1987 and relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to open a new office for the firm. Mark returned to Louisville in 1991 and became Director of Development for Thornton’s, a regional convenience gas and food chain with over 150 locations in five states. Mark joined Trammell Crow Company in 1997 to head the retail leasing division in Ohio/Kentucky. In 1999, he joined TCC’s fast-growing Trammell Crow Corporate Services, providing senior account support in the Midwest Region for major Fortune 500 clients including United Healthcare, Key Bank and American Express. Mark helped form Fortis Group in 2001 and serves as Broker and Senior Vice President, overseeing all sales and leasing services provided to Fortis Group clients.
