CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

John completed a fifteen-year lease of a 283,000 SF, 30’ clear manufacturing, and crossed dock facility on behalf of Akers Packaging Service Group, an industry-leading corrugated box manufacturing company. The aggregate value of the lease was in excess of $18,000,000.

John completed a 1031 exchange of 850 Milwaukee Avenue in Vernon Hills, IL, with the acquisition of 4801 68th Avenue in Kenosha, WI. The sale and the reinvestment into a net leased, cross-docked facility was a $10 million transaction.

In twenty-eight years of service, he has completed more than 1,000 real estate transactions in excess of $1 billion in consideration. John has experience as an owner/investor/operator himself acquiring multiple industrial assets. That unique experience has greatly enhanced his ability to advise clients in his agency assignments.

As a CCIM, John was the CCIM Illinois Chapter President. He also teaches Leadership Development, including foundation, style & culture, and public speaking.
