Bob Gibbons is a veteran of the commercial real estate industry having started his career while a 20-year-old college junior at the University of Texas at Arlington in 1984. He worked for landlords of office and warehouse buildings for 20 years where he negotiated thousands of leases throughout the US valued at half a billion dollars. He now uses that experience exclusively for the benefit of companies and non-profits which lease or buy office space. He named his company REATA which is an acronym which stands for Real Estate Advisor & Tenant Advocate.

He cohosts the Confessions of a Recovering Landlord podcast with his wife who is also his business partner. He previously hosted The Next Level Show on an IHeartMedia radio station where he interviewed company founders. The 215 episodes are still available as podcasts.

He is a Texas Real Estate Broker, a member of the Plano & Frisco Chambers of Commerce, serves on the Plano Planning & Zoning Commission, is on the advisory board of The Brain Injury Network of Dallas, and is a former board member of My Possibilities.
