SIOR ARKANSAS CHAPTER COMBINES BIKE-ABILITY WITH REAL ESTATE EXPERTISE
The SIOR Arkansas Chapter and 57 attendees toured the world’s first bikeable building, "Ledger," in Bentonville, Ark. Guests explored the six-story, 230,000 sq. ft. building that houses custom and private offices, shared workspaces, retail shops, and curated art installation. Nelson Peacock, president of the Northwest Arkansas Council, provided insights into the long-term community planning by the council, tackling infrastructure, healthcare, and job growth, along with a discussion about the region’s future development and growth prospects. SIOR Global President David Lockwood, SIOR, shared valuable SIOR global news, and SIOR Oklahoma Chapter President Zach Harris, SIOR, presented a market trend update on the neighboring state.

SIOR GEORGIA CHAPTER HOSTS LEADERSHIP BREAKFAST
An impressive 480 attendees joined the SIOR Georgia Chapter for an enlightening Leadership Breakfast at Atlanta's Cobb Energy Centre. Chris Womack, president and CEO of Southern Company, discussed Georgia's power infrastructure, focusing on the integration of new nuclear reactors, advanced electrical technologies, and the importance of teamwork in sustaining Georgia's growth. He emphasized the importance of planning for the future today in today’s ever-evolving industry and landscape.

SIOR MINNESOTA/DAKOTAS CHAPTER HOLDS SPONSOR & MEMBER APPRECIATION EVENT
Each year the SIOR Minnesota /Dakotas Chapter presents the Robert P. Boblett Award to an SIOR who demonstrates outstanding distinguished service and long-standing dedication and commitment to the ideals and standards of SIOR. Last December at Pittsburgh Blue in Edina, Minn., the chapter hosted a lively Sponsor and Member Appreciation Happy Hour where the award was presented to Eric Rapp, SIOR, in recognition of his 18 years of membership with SIOR and his unselfish efforts to inspire others to reach their greatest potential in the real estate profession. During the event, Chapter president Mike Doyle, SIOR, also delivered an all-encompassing state-of-the-chapter update, while SIOR Global president-elect Mike Ohmes, SIOR, offered valuable insights into the organization's present status and upcoming developments.

SIOR CANADA CHAPTER HONORS CHAPTER BROKERS OF THE YEAR
The SIOR Canada Central Chapter held its 2023 Broker of the Year Awards last December at Toronto's Omni King Edward Hotel, where 273 industry professionals, including 30+ members and special guest SIOR Global President David Lockwood, SIOR, gathered to celebrate. The evening recognized outstanding achievers like Kyle Hanna, SIOR, of CBRE, Ron Jasinski from Colliers, Emily Everett, also of CBRE, and Lyndsay Hopps, SIOR, from Avison Young Commercial Real Estate, showcasing excellence across different categories. The event emphasized the nurturing of future talent and highlighted the Chapter's dedication to mentorship through its collaboration with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Canada. That same evening, the chapter also recognized several scholarship award winners and announced their new brand: to move forward as SIOR Canada, marking a pivotal milestone in the chapter's journey.
