On behalf of the SIOR Foundation Board of Trustees, THANK YOU! Even while being conducted fully virtually, this year’s Great Escape Giveaway was a huge success! With your support, the Foundation netted over $17,000 to support its programs and initiatives.
A special thanks to our sponsor, SparrowHawk, without whom we would not be able to continue this annual event.
Alfredo Gutierrez is a valuable supporter of the SIOR Foundation, and we are indebted to him and SparrowHawk. Congratulations to Frank Hird, SIOR, of O,R&L Commercial in Branford, Conn. who will receive a free registration—plus travel, and accommodations—to CREate 360 this fall in Nashville.
Speaking of CREate 360, the Foundation has some exciting plans in the works! This year’s “Star” Reception and Wine Tasting will be an event you do not want to miss. Foundation donors of $1,000 or more will receive an invitation to the event. Donating is as easy as going to our website at www.siorfoundation.org.
This very long year of quarantining, pivoting, and Zoom meetings seems to be coming to an end! The world is reopening and returning to “normal,” but as was the case before the pandemic was even on the horizon, your SIOR Foundation has no desire to be “normal.”
We strive to be an extraordinary and integral part of the commercial real estate industry by Educating, Enhancing, Expanding the community. Moving forward, the SIOR Foundation will continue to support educational opportunities such as the Real Estate Executive Council’s summer program for deserving and exceptional youth, scholarships for bright and exceptional college students, and SIOR chapter and regional events.
To be a part of our commitment to give back to the organization and industry that has given so much to us, please consider becoming a member of the SIOR Foundation Board of Trustees. Being a part of this amazing group of SIORs not only offers you a way to help the next generation of CRE professionals but is also an amazing opportunity to network with some of the finest men and women I have had the pleasure to know. If you are interested, please contact me or Rich Sleasman, SIOR.

Sincerely,
