James E. Spittler, Jr., SIOR, a founding principal of NAI Highland, LLC, is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and served as a fighter pilot in Vietnam, where he flew 314 combat missions. He is a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors® (SIOR) and the only dual designee (office and industrial) in Colorado Springs.

A veteran of the Colorado Springs’ commercial real estate market since 1978, Spittler was named Colorado Springs’ Commercial Realtor® of the Year for 1985 and 1991, becoming the second two-time winner of this award.

Community involvement includes past Secretary, Vice-Chairman and Chairman of the Board of Goodwill Industries of Colorado Springs. He served a second term as Chairman of Goodwill in 2007. He is past Chairman of the Business Climate Initiatives Group of the Chamber of Commerce. Nationally, Spittler is past President and Chairman of the Board of the United States Air Force Academy Association of Graduates (AOG), the Colorado Thirty Group and is a member of the Falcon Foundation Board of Trustees.

He offers a broad spectrum of services from office, industrial and retail leasing and sales to investment and vacant land sales. Most of his business is either repeat business with existing clients or referrals from a wide-ranging network.
