Richard D. Abraham

Richard David Abraham is a native of Brooklyn, New York and received his Bachelor’s degree in Education from Florida International University in 1981. He has been a real estate licensee in Florida since 1979. Richard has been a Licensed Real Estate Broker since 1982, and has thirty years’ experience in sales and leasing of many types of commercial properties. Richard’s main focus since becoming a broker has been in the areas of sales and leasing of industrial properties throughout Florida, and land sales throughout Florida. Richard earned the prestigious CCIM designation (Certified Commercial Investment Member) in 2006. This is recognized worldwide as the Ph.D. of commercial income producing real estate. Richard also holds the designation of SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors) which is the highest designation possible in the specialties of industrial and office properties which he received in 2008

Richard has served as the Chairman of the Town of Davie Economic Development Board, is currently serving as the Vice President of the Broward County CCIM Chapter, and a member of the Realtor Commercial Association of the Greater Ft. Lauderdale Realtor Association. He has authored studies of the Miami-Dade Industrial Market as well as the Broward County Vacant Land Study.

In 1996 Richard opened Abraham & Associates, Inc. which is a boutique real estate firm that has concentrated efforts throughout the tri-county area of Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties and numerous transactions throughout the State of Florida. In addition to real estate brokerage, Richard holds a CAM (Community Association Manager) license in Florida and has managed over 600,000 square feet of retail and office space for investors in Central and South Florida. He has been appointed as a Receiver in Circuit Court of Miami Dade County and Broward County.

Richard and his wife and children live in the City of Weston and have since 1988, when it was a small town.
