With over 28 years of experience in commercial real estate, Mr. Mills focuses his expertise in San Diego’s Central and South Bay market areas and performs sale, lease and investment functions, as well as assistance to developers/builders on redevelopment projects.

Mr. Mills has worked with owners to reposition their properties to take advantage of emerging trends and has assisted redevelopment agencies and individuals due to condemnation proceedings. Working with real estate investors, Mr. Mills has performed complicated analyses to compare different investments based on cash flows and returns, as well as assistance in sales and exchanges (1031 exchanges) of alternative properties. Mr. Mills has also assisted attorneys and accountants with the evaluation of trust assets for estate planning purposes, as well as the sale of business real estate assets.

Tim Mills is a First Vice President in Brokerage Services of CBRE. With over 35 years of

experience in commercial real estate, Mr. Mills focuses his expertise in the Central

San Diego market area and performs sale, lease and investment functions, as well as

provides assistance to developers/builders on redevelopment projects.

Mr. Mills has worked with owners to reposition their properties to take advantage of

emerging trends and has assisted redevelopment agencies with relocation of existing

tenants and acquisition of alternative properties for individuals due to condemnation

proceedings. Working with real estate investors, Mr. Mills has performed complicated

analysis to compare different investments based on cash flows and returns, as well as assistance in sales and exchanges (1031 exchanges) of alternative properties. Mr.

Mills has also assisted attorneys and accountants with analytical market reports

dealing with complex issues such as partition actions and the disposition of trust

assets.

Mr. Mills received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an

emphasis in Accounting from San Diego State University.

Mr. Mills has also received the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member

(CCIM) designation in November 2003. The CCIM designation is awarded to

commercial real estate professionals upon completion of a graduate-level curriculum

and attainment of a level of qualifying experience. CCIMs are recognized experts in

commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and

investment analysis, and form a business network encompassing 1,000 markets

throughout North America, Asia, Europe and the Caribbean. Of the estimated

125,000 commercial real estate practitioners in North America, 7,000 currently hold

the CCIM designation. The Chicago-based CCIM Institute is an affiliate of the

National Association of Realtors® and is the governing body of the largest commercial real estate network in the world.

In addition to the CCIM designation, Mr. Mills is also a member of the Society of

Industrial and Office Realtors® (SIOR). Headquartered in Washington, DC, SIOR is a

global professional organization that certifies commercial real estate service providers with the exclusive SIOR designation. Individuals who earn their SIOR designation

adhere to the highest levels of accountability and ethical standards. Only the

industry’s top professionals qualify for the SIOR designation. There are more than

3,000 SIOR members in 26 countries – 2,800 of whom hold the SIOR designation.
