Brian K. Edmonds, Principal at Greenwood CRE, and a founder of the firm, has more than 35 years of experience in the commercial real estate profession as both a Corporate Real Estate Director and a Commercial Office Broker/Advisor. A licensed real estate broker in PA, NJ, DE and NY, he has worked on multiple large corporate/institutional portfolio accounts with clients including Verizon Communications, Comcast Cable, AT&T, Dames and Moore, the School District of Philadelphia, the City of Philadelphia and the Commonwealth of PA. Prior to co-founding Greenwood CRE, Brian practiced his profession as Managing Director at Julien J. Studley, Inc., a nationally recognized commercial real estate advisory firm focused on Tenant Representation. Between 1985 and 1998, he gained extensive commercial real estate and corporate facilities experience with Reliance Insurance Company, where he was responsible for site selection, transaction management and office planning for all field office locations (totaling more than 2 million square feet). Brian is a seasoned negotiator as he has been recognized as a Dealmaker by the Philadelphia Business Journal and has been awarded the prestigious Costar “Power Broker” award.

Brian K. Edmonds, SIOR – Principal of Greenwood CRE, has more than 35 years of experience in the commercial real estate profession as both a Commercial Real Estate Broker/Advisor and a Corporate Real Estate Director of a Fortune 500 Company.

A licensed real estate broker in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and New York, Brian has a particular focus in office and industrial tenant representation, property sales and strategic real estate planning and has represented a long list of corporate, non- profit and government clients in the Greater Philadelphia area. Over his career, Brian has negotiated complex transactions, including large office and industrial relocations, lease renewals and restructures, build-to-suites and building & property sales. As a member of the SVN Corporate Services practice, Brian brings a history of managing large corporate and institutional accounts with clients including Comcast Cable, Verizon Communications, URS Corporation, AT&T, Federal Express, the School District of Philadelphia, the City of Philadelphia and the Commonwealth of PA.

Prior to co-founding Greenwood CRE, Brian practiced his profession as Managing Director at Julien J. Studley, Inc., a nationally recognized commercial real estate advisory firm focused on Tenant Representation. Between 1985 and 1998, he gained extensive commercial real estate and corporate facilities experience with Reliance Insurance Company, where he was responsible for site selection, transaction management and office planning for all locations across the U.S.

Brian is a recognized commercial real estate and business leader in the Philadelphia area. He has been featured in the Philadelphia Business Journal (PBJ) in their “Dealmaker” series while also receiving the PBJ Minority Business Leader award and Best Real Estate Deals award. Additionally, he has been recognized with the prestigious Costar “Power Broker” award multiple times and received the 2013 SIOR Largest Office lease transaction National award. Brian’s volunteer activities include serving on the Board of Directors of Corenet Global Philadelphia Chapter, Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) Philadelphia Chapter, the Urban Affairs Coalition and the African American Chamber of Commerce of PA-NJ-DE.

Brian earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Facilities Planning from Penn State University.
