Mario Asaro a Business Management graduate of St John’s University, grew up working in his family’s restaurant business and then became a restaurant owner by the age of 21, after a number of successful years he decided to sell the business and embark on a new career in commercial real estate, which started at United Realty in 2003, and in a relatively short time he became one of their most active brokers.

Subsequently, over the years he has received many accolades from the Long Island Business News for his successes in featured articles as well as in being listed their Who’s Who in Commercial Real Estate

In 2006 and 2011

He is a recipient of 2011 & 2013 Costar Power Broker Award

His colleagues and competitors from CIBS (the Commercial, Industrial, Brokers Society) acknowledged him by awarding him with the coveted “Rising Star Award” in 2005 (the year of its inception)

In 2009 he was asked to take the Helm of Industry One Realty Corp a full service commercial/industrial real estate firm based in Farmingdale Long Island since 1985. Since taking over as president Mario Asaro has re-invigorated the company significantly. In 2013 he relocated the company from its original office in Farmingdale of 28 years to a Class A space three times the size.

Mario Asaro Credits his real estate success in large part to his years in the Restaurant industry learning how to think on your feet, dealing with dilemma’s always with a smile on your face, and being used to working 70 hours a week didn’t hurt either.

Mario is married to his wonderful wife Natalie and have two young children

They enjoy traveling the world, skiiing, boating and scuba diving.
