WASHINGTON, DC - March 22, 2018 - The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors® (SIOR), which represents the world’s elite in industrial and office brokerage, today announced its Top Transactions Award Winners of 2017. The Top Transaction Awards are presented to the largest sales and lease transactions, ranked by dollar volume, completed by SIOR members worldwide. This year, 600 SIOR members reported 2,000 transactions, totaling USD $10 billion in leases and sales in the industrial, investment, office, land, alternative assets, and redevelopment sectors.
The largest transaction of 2017, both by dollar volume and square footage, was arranged by Jack Fraker, SIOR, of CBRE, who arranged the $475 million sale of 7,796,633 square feet of industrial space across the Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Columbus, and Memphis markets. This is one of the largest SIOR Transactions ever reported.

Behind the largest transaction, the next largest transactions, all exceeding $88 million, were among the highest in the industry:
- Kenneth Block, SIOR, of Block Real Estate Services arranged the $305 million sale of 2,200,000-square-foot office space in Overland Park, Kansas;
- Mark Detmer, SIOR, and Bo Mills, SIOR, of JLL arranged the $196 million sale of 2,833,405-square-foot industrial space in Las Vegas;
- Barbara Johnson, SIOR, and Vic Galanis, SIOR, of CBRE arranged the $89 million lease of a 170,000 square-foot office space in Salt Lake City.
