SIOR COLORADO CHAPTER PEDALS JOY AND PURPOSE WITH ANNUAL BIKE BUILD

SIOR Colorado Chapter shifted gears from deals to giving during its annual “Build a Bike” event at Hallett Academy in Denver. In partnership with Wish for Wheels, 30 SIOR members and sponsors came together to assemble 40 brand-new bikes for second and third graders in a local underserved community. After the build, students eagerly paired up with volunteers to learn how to ride—many for the very first time. The day was filled with smiles, wobbly first pedals, and unforgettable moments of connection. With longtime support from sponsors like Prologis, the event continues to showcase the SIOR Colorado Chapter’s commitment to meaningful community impact and deeper member engagement.



SIOR INDIANA CHAPTER SERVES FRESH AI & CRE INSIGHTS AT BREAKFAST

The SIOR Indiana Chapter gathered at the Holliday Farms Clubhouse in Zionsville, Ind., for a forward-looking panel breakfast focused on artificial intelligence and its growing role in commercial real estate. With 52 attendees—including 20 SIOR members, six recruits, and 26 sponsors and guests—the event featured expert insights from panelists Andrew Urban, Brittany Ahlbrand, James Storey, and Steve Wasick, and was moderated by journalist Mickey Shuey. From streamlining document review to generating marketing content, panelists shared how AI is helping CRE professionals work smarter—not replacing relationships, but enhancing them. The message was clear: embracing AI isn’t just smart, it’s essential.

SIOR INLAND EMPIRE & ORANGE COUNTY CHAPTER EXPLORES MEXICO’S INDUSTRIAL BOOM

The SIOR Inland Empire & Orange County Chapter brought cross-border commerce into sharp focus with its event, “Mexico Cross Border Opportunities and Tariff Implications,” in Newport Beach, Calif. Drawing 75 attendees, including 35 SIORs, the panel featured top-tier experts—Adriana E. Eguia Alaniz, regional VP at Vesta and chair of the Board at the Tijuana Economic Development Corporation; Miguel Enciso, director of Capital Markets and industrial specialist at INOGA Real Estate; and Enrique Portillo, SIOR, executive director and Mexico Logistics & Industrial lead at Cushman & Wakefield—who dove into the nearshoring boom, tariff trends, industrial growth, record-low vacancy rates, and border-driven site strategies. The evening wrapped with spirited networking and fresh leads, highlighting SIOR’s role in connecting global markets and regional opportunities.

SIOR IOWA-NEBRASKA CHAPTER HITS A HOME RUN AT COLLEGE WORLD SERIES EVENT

The SIOR Iowa-Nebraska Chapter brought the heat at its annual summer baseball event during the Men’s College World Series in Omaha, Neb. Held under a tent in the lively CWS Baseball Village, the gathering drew more than 80 attendees and featured all seven of the chapter's sponsors. Guests enjoyed a spread of game-day favorites while watching the afternoon game on big screens. Two lucky attendees even scored tickets to the night game, making this a grand slam of networking, regional pride, and summer fun for members across Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri.

The SIOR Memphis Chapter gathered at Tom Lee Park along the Mississippi River for SmokeSlam, a top-tier barbecue festival that served up more than just good eats. With 48 attendees—including SIOR members and sponsors—the laid-back event offered a flavorful space for informal networking and timely market discussions. Conversations sizzled with talk of a cooling market and tariff uncertainty. The event proved that sometimes the best connections—and insights—are made over brisket and blues.

SIOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA/NORTHERN NEVADA CHAPTER TEES UP RECORD ATTENDANCE AT ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

The SIOR Northern California/Northern Nevada Chapter hit a hole-in-one with its annual golf tournament, drawing a record 144 golfers to the scenic Course at Wente Vineyards in Livermore, Calif. With Pacific Construction leading the way as gold sponsor and a strong showing of loyal members and supporters, the day delivered sunshine, camaraderie, and plenty of friendly competition. After the final putts dropped, attendees enjoyed happy hour bites and beverages—swapping stories of triumphs, near misses, and golf glory in true SIOR style.




SIOR UPSTATE NEW YORK CHAPTER SPARKS INSIGHT WITH HIGH-TECH SPRING TOURS

The SIOR Upstate New York Chapter lit up its Spring Meeting with a behind-the-scenes look at two state-of-the-art flex properties in East Syracuse, N.Y. A group of 22 attendees—including 11 SIOR designees—toured the new Rivian service center and the Johnstone Supply facility, both showcasing the region’s evolving industrial landscape. From electric vehicle servicing to high-efficiency distribution, members got an inside look at innovation in motion. Post-tour, the group exchanged market updates, noting steady industrial performance and rising office demand for high-quality space—despite headwinds from rising construction and tenant improvement costs.
