Social Media Influencer Program Marketing Toolkit

Thank you for joining SIOR's Social Media Influencer Program! Your participation is key to making our events successful and our brand powerful.

We have assembled this effective and easy-to-use Influencer Marketing Toolkit with assets, copy samples, and other resources to help get you started. We encourage you to be creative and have some fun. Develop your own post ideas and content or build off the turnkey assets and copy suggestions provided here. Most importantly, we want your posts, reels, stories, and videos to come from your own authentic voice.

Requirements, Tips, Sample Posts & Assets

Overall Requirements

  • Adhere to SIOR's brand guidelines and SIOR's Code of Conduct when posting
  • Participate in possible kick-off calls to review program, if necessary
  • Comply with content calendar and program-specific posting guidelines (per below)
  • Create at least one post every other month (roughly 6 a year) to share SIOR branded videos and other ongoing campaigns.
  • Tag SIOR in 1-2 social posts/tweets/reels/videos a month (and 2-3 stories if using IG/Facebook) across your preferred channels
  • Complete email check-ins to share posts (including screenshots) and engagement activity
Conference Influencer Requirements
  • Pre-event:
    • Post a minimum of 2-3 social posts/tweets/reels/videos, (and 2-3 stories if using IG/Facebook if comfortable) across your preferred channels tagging SIOR
    • Encourage registration by driving followers to SIOR event page
    • Post original, authentic content as much as possible. SIOR assets and copy samples will also be provided for use.
  • On-Site
    • Minimum of one (1) post/tweet/reel/video a day
    • Include reels and video posts showing personal event experience where possible
    • Daily check-ins with SIOR team.


Do:
  • Make sure to tag SIOR so we can share and repost.
  • Include the event registration or campaign UTM link
  • Encourage your audience to follow SIOR
  • Be authentic and have fun
Don't:
  • Use inappropriate or inflammatory language, images, or video
  • Use false information that hasn't been verified online or by SIOR team members

Personalize our sample posts and tweets/captions (provided in the assets tabs) or use them as inspiration to create your own messages. You can use these posts across all social platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.




10 Helpful Hints for Posting

  1. Develop a consistent posting schedule.
  2. Add an image that is relevant to the industry, your topic, or your expertise.
  3. Join like-minded communities.
  4. Interact with your followers on a regular basis.
  5. Use keywords in your posts and hashtags for searchability: #SIOR #CRE (As well as any conference or campaign hashtags)
  6. Be transparent – people want to know you on a more personal level.
  7. Focus on helping, not selling.
  8. Post original content 70% of the time; post content relevant to your followers’ interests 20% of the time; and post self-promotional content 10% of the time.
  9. If you use Twitter, make replying and retweeting a habit.
  10. Tag @SIORglobal in all your posts.
