Erika Zipfel Thompson is a Founding Principal at Lee & Associates Tampa Bay. Having worked in commercial real estate since 2002, Erika is an experienced Commercial Specialist with a focus on industrial and office commercial real estate. She is skilled in negotiation with both occupier and investment sales, tenant representation, landlord representation, property management, and leadership.

Erika received her Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designation. The SIOR designation represents today’s most knowledgeable, experienced, and successful commercial real estate brokerage specialists. Known for innovative new ideas and extensive market knowledge of industrial properties, Erika establishes a reputation with her clients for attentive service, thorough attention to analysis, and aggressive pursuit of her client’s needs to ensure the success of each assignment.

Prior to joining Lee & Associates Tampa Bay, Erika worked for 21 years with The Dikman Company, a Tampa boutique real estate firm. She served as the lead broker, focusing on industrial real estate. She represented buyers and tenants who acquired either warehouse, office, flex, distribution or manufacturing spaces. She also managed the industrial properties’ portfolio.

Erika is a licensed Florida Real Estate Sales Associate with more than ten years’ experience in commercial real estate. She has been an active member of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women’s Organization) Tampa Bay since 2016, serving as a Board Member 2020-2021 and currently chairs the Programs Committee. She was recipient of The President’s Award with CREW Tampa Bay for 2018. She’s served on the Board of Directors with the Florida Gulfcoast Commercial Association of Realtors (FGCAR) in 2019-2020, recipient of Multi Million Dollar Producer Award in 2017 with FGCAR, Member to Member Deal of the Year and Multi Million Dollar Producer Award in 2018, 2019, and 2020. Erika sits on the East Tampa Industrial Advisory Board, is a member of National Association of Realtors (NAR) and of Florida Association of Realtors (FAR).

In addition to serving her clients, Erika also serves her community. She’s been a member of The Junior League of Tampa since 2004 and remains active in her son’s school, Jesuit High School in South Tampa.
