Bobby Lyons is a real estate broker, developer and President of Lyons Industrial Properties / Corfac International, a full service industrial real estate firm based in Spartanburg, SC.

Lyons Industrial Properties was founded by Bobby Lyons, CCIM who earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Clemson University in 1990. Before going into the commercial real estate brokerage and development business, Bobby spent 5 years as a civil engineer with the SC Department of Transportation. Bobby was responsible for new bridge construction in the Upstate of SC where he gained extensive experience in all aspects of the construction of bridges and heavy structures.

Bobby entered the commercial real estate business in January of 1996 with a Spartanburg based general real estate firm and quickly opened his own real estate company specializing in industrial real estate in January of 1999 and has specialized in the industrial sector ever since.

Mr. Lyons was awarded the CCIM designation in June of 2002 in Phoenix, Az. The CCIM designation is awarded to commercial real estate professionals upon completion of a graduate-level curriculum and attainment of a level of qualifying experience. CCIM's are recognized experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and investment analysis, and form a business network encompassing 1,000 markets throughout North America, Asia, Europe and the Caribbean. Only 6 percent of the estimated 125,000 commercial real estate practitioners nationwide hold the CCIM designation, which reflects not only the caliber of the program, but also why it is one of the most coveted and respected designations in the industry.

Bobby was also awarded the coveted SIOR designation from the Society of Office and Industrial Realtors in January of 2019. Bobby has extensive experience in industrial real estate brokerage, development, and investment analysis and has been in the business since 1996.

Bobby is very active in his community. He is on the advisory board of Wells Fargo Bank, he is a board member and 7 year Program Chairman for the Downtown Rotary Club of Spartanburg. Mr. Lyons also coaches little league travel baseball and YMCA basketball in Cherokee County, SC and is active in fundraising events for several organizations including St. Paul’s Catholic School and Parish, St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Greenville, SC, the Downtown Rotary Club of Spartanburg, and many others.

Bobby has been married to Nikki Lyons for 28 years and they have six children ranging from 23 years old to 10 years old. They live in the Grassy Pond area of Gaffney, SC (Cherokee County) and are members of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church parish.
