Previous brokerage position was with CB Richard Ellis (CBRE), where I was the dominant broker in the northwest/O'Hare sub-market of Chicago. That led to a position with First Industrial Realty Trust on the global acquisitions team to feed First’s $9 Billion of REIT and pension fund capital. Smolensky has completed transactions in excess of $300 million and 10 million square feet in industrial properties and office projects. Daniel's previous brokerage position was with CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) where he enjoyed being the dominant broker in the northwest/O'Hare sub-market of Chicago. That led to a position with First Industrial Realty Trust one the world's largest owners/developers of industrial properties where Dan was charged with identifying buildings to purchase and executing transactions to feed the company’s $9 Billion of REIT and pension fund capital. He considered opportunities in every major market in the US, Canada and Europe.
