SIOR Award of Excellence

The SIOR Award of Excellence recognizes individuals who achieve outstanding success and demonstrate exceptional dedication to SIOR and the commercial real estate industry. This prestigious award honors those demonstrating personal integrity, leadership, and a profound commitment to SIOR’s values. Recipients serve as exemplary role models, overcame major adversity in their professional or personal life, and make notable contributions to our industry and organization.

Criteria for Award

Candidates for this award should demonstrate support of SIOR’s mission to advance and support the commercial real estate industry globally. When nominating someone, keep in mind these four pillars to which the awardee should exemplify:

1. Education: Providing members with cutting-edge knowledge and professional development opportunities through courses, mentorship and events.

2. Networking: Facilitating strong connections and relationships among members, fostering a powerful community of industry leaders.

3. Advocacy: Representing and promoting the interests of commercial real estate professionals, enhancing the profession’s influence and visibility.

4. Standards & Ethics: Upholding the highest ethical standards and practices, ensuring members maintain integrity and professionalism in all transactions.

Nomination Process

Please submit your nomination by February 28, 2025. The SIOR Award of Excellence is a newly formed award, with the first nomination in the winter of 2024/2025. The award will be presented at the SIOR Spring 2025 Event in Las Vegas.
